This wooden wall mural was created by my Level 2 Art and Design students during my time as a lecturer in the North East of England. The project brief was to design and build an uplifting mural that would bring a sense of warmth, hope, and reassurance to visitors at the children’s charity where it now lives. The students put so much creativity and care into this piece, from the design process right through to installation. The finished piece really captures their enthusiasm and teamwork. It was such a rewarding project to be part of, and I’m really proud of what they achieved.
